Michael Pon was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Michael attended California State University of Hayward (Cal State East Bay) where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice with a Minor in Sociology. Michael joined Southern Pacific Railroad Police Department in 1980 as a Special Agent. He joined BART Police Department in 1990. Michael was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section in 2003. Michael is a Registered Representative. He has been on the Investment Plans Committee as a BPOA alternate representative since October 2005.
